As a native of Oakland CA, Deborah Howard has been active in the church for over 30 years. She has served in various ministries in her former churches; St. Matthews Missionary Baptist Church, Greater St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church, both of Oakland CA, Mt. Gilead Missionary Baptist Church of San Francisco, and Solomon Temple Missionary Baptist Church, Pittsburg, CA.

Deborah Howard has worked in the ministry through the vision that was given by God to her husband, Dr. Ralph Howard to reach, “From Higher Heights to Higher Hopes” and to “Step Into the Promise”. Deborah was involved in Society as a Mission Worker. She remains very active in the following ministries: Vacation Bible School Teacher, Youth and Adult Women Sunday School Teacher, Steward Committee Member, SOAR Ministry Facilitator, and Women’s Ministry Leader. She has participated in Minister’s and Widow’s Wives Ministry of the Bay Area and Deaconess/Deacon’s Wives Ministry. She is co-founder of Seed of Faith Christian Fellowship with her husband, Rev. Dr. Ralph Howard. First Lady Howard also loves to sing which is one of her passions and enjoys “Praising the Lord through song.”

First Lady Howard works closely with her husband in counseling couples and individual in and out of the church. She is known as “A Might Prayer Warrior”, who is called on as a Child of God to go into intercessory prayer whenever needed. She is an active member of Seed of Faith while pursing her Doctorate in Theology. She is a dynamic speaker, bringing forth the Inspirational Word of God. First Lady Howard is a woman fully committed and dedicated to God, a faithful helpmate to her husband, and to helping and serving the people of God. To God by the Glory!
