Comments: I have a testimony about what happened to me today 7/12/09.I went to visit a friend's daughter at Highland Hospital, in Oakland and, could not tell security her last name since it was different from her Mother's. We told me because of security reasons I could not go up to see her. I made 7 phone calls to various people who know her and no one knew her last name. I could not reach my friend, her Mother either. After 30 minutes I had almost given up when I remembered if you call on Jesus he will answer. I leaned over a plastic garbage can and prayed for Jesus to help me locate her mother. I prayed very hard and after saying " in Jesus name Amen," I looked up and there was my friend, her mother. I told her the story and she and my husband asked me to pray over her daughter at the hospital. God is truly wonderful and always on time when you need him. Praises be to God!… (Pat)

June 2009

I went to my niece’s 5th grade graduation today and saw the promises of God, our future. Last year in May I was sitting in a meeting with her mother and the school staff, her teacher had decided my niece needed to be held back in 4th grade. There were no previous notifications of her failing, however we knew she would have some difficulty concentrating at school because of the distractions of her younger sister’s hospitalizations and her cousin’s multiple surgeries. Since the school had failed to notify us of what the teachers plans were and the administrators could not totally agree with the teacher, we came to an agreement that my niece would attend summer school, get tutoring and go on to 5th grade. Well I just want to start by thanking God, because not only did my niece do well in 5th grade – she graduate to 6th grade with honors and perfect attendance the entire year. This is truly the work of God’s hand; He took a situation that a person decided was dead and gave it life, abundant life… (Kacey)

I thought I had such a testimony when my daughter came to church on mother's day (she has not come in a very long time) and my husband gave me an orchid floral arrangement (he rarely gives me gifts, especially since we are still separated). However, God just showed extreme mercy, favor, grace to my family last night at 11:30p my son's car was shot at 11 casings were found; he walked away with God's covering. We don't know why, he was on his way home from work, please keep us in your prayers, we're still in shock… (Kacey)
